Punch pizza was born in 2008 from a simple belief: great pizza deserves great ingredients. Our founder, Marcus Holt, grew up watching his grandmother knead dough by hand every Sunday morning in their Minneapolis kitchen. That love for handcrafted food became the heartbeat of everything we do.
Starting with just one wood-fired oven and a handful of recipes, we opened our first location on Wayzata Blvd with big dreams and even bigger flavors. The community embraced us immediately — and we've been proud to call Wayzata, MN home ever since.
Today, Punch pizza is known throughout the Twin Cities area for our signature punch pizza style: bold, fresh, and made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We haven't forgotten our roots, and we never will.
